For many years now Diamond Import has been offering the possibility to certify gemstones in its sophisticated gemstone analysis lab. Thanks to its always-updated instrumentation, it is possible to close in special blisters any precious gemstone certified and guaranteed by GIA (Gemmological Institute of America) gemmologists. The instruments that are currently used are:
- OGI SYSTEMS Ltd Scanox HD – A pc programme that uses GIA FACETWARE, for the cut and proportion analysis of faceted diamonds (as well as the traditional GIA programme, we also have all the lab systems for cut analysis, such as HRD,IGI,DIA,ZENOKIO etc..)
- LABEL MATRIX – A pc programme that issues a complete gemstone certificate
- GIA GEM Stereo Star Zoom 0,7X to 4,2X 570 – Microscope for GIA gemstone analysis
- D-SCOPE HRD STEMI 2000 – Sophisticated HRD microscope for gemstone analysis that keeps the gemstone suspended with a special air system
- GGEM DIAMOND Lite – Warm and cold-light instrument for the analysis of diamonds and their colour
- RAY TECH LAPIDARY EQUIPMENT- LW and SW instrument for gemstone fluorescence
- D-GRAN FULL SPECTRUM DIAMOND COLORIMETER – Colorimeter for diamond colour grading
- GIA REFRACTOMETER – GIA refractometer for the analysis of all precious gemstones
- GEM INSTRUMENT COLORMASTER – Instrument for the separation of colour gemstone batches
- STEMI DV4 ZEISS – Special microscope for gemmological analysis
- OKUDA J.T.I CO,Ltd – Microscope for gemmological analysis
- PRESIDIUM GEM TESTER – Instrument to identify and separate diamonds and their simulations
- LEVERIDGE – Precision gauge to measure gemstone diameter in mm
- DICROSCOPIO – Instrument for the classification of pleochroism in colour gemstones
- POLARISCOPIO – For birefringence or splitting of colour gemstones
- GIA 10X TRIPLET – Triplet for gemstone analysis
- TANITA MODEL 1479V – Precision scales for gram measurement
- METTLER CE150 – Measurement scales for carats and grams
